Here are some speedy answers to your latest dating questions:
1) I’ve got a first date tomorrow, what should I wear?
This all depends on what you are planning to do! The general rule is too dress to impress but wear something you are comfortable in. You want to make a good first impression as people do judge very quickly. If it’s just for drinks then men look good in jeans and a shirt, with a jacket. Women should try to wear skirts rather than jeans as that will make you look more feminine . Try and look like you’ve made an effort for the other person.
2) I got someone’s number last night. What should I do next?
When you get someone’s info, make sure that you they input your number on their phone too. When you agree to swap numbers , tell them you’ll ring their phone so they have your number too.
So store their number, then call them and watch while they enter your name. That way, when you text them, you don’t have to explain who you are! Assume they remember you.
If you got on well, text the following morning – don’t wait – then arrange to call them later that day to sort out a proper date.
3) I go on dates but they only ever see me as a friend. Help!
This is because you did things that a friend would do during the date. This could be listening to their problems, telling too boring jokes or simply not flirting. Make it very clear from the outset that you are going on a date not just “meeting for drinks.” When you are on the date, flirt and touch them often and try to make it obvious you find them sexy.
