Watch out for the warning signs
Dates are supposed to be fun, but there are several things that can set alarm bells ringing.

I’ve made a list of some of the most common “warning signals” that you should be aware of.
If you get more than a couple of these during your date then get yourself out of there!
1) They try and pick you up or get you to meet them at their house. Always meet in a busy, public place.
2) They were more than 10 minutes late and didn’t warn you. Yes, traffic can be bad and public transport worse, but they just be able to let you know so you don’t wait around like a lost puppy.
3) They’ve been rude to the waiters. According to studies, this is THE biggest dating faux pas of all!
4) They complain about the cost, despite boasting about how much money they earn. Either they are lying to you or are just plain tight.
5) They keep checking their mobile phone every two minutes. What’s so important that they can’t focus on getting to know yo?
6) They ask what your surname name is…..so they can google you later! Don’t give out too many personal details on a first date, just in case.
7) You’ve not genuinely laughed or smiled once. Life is too short to be bored silly.
8) They keep going on about their ex. Everyone knows this one but it still happens a lot. Keep the past in the past – nobody ever wants to feel second best.
9) Forgetting to thank you. Even if a date has gone badly, it’s important that common manners still come in to play. If they’ve paid then you should thank them. It’s that simple.
10) They add you as a Facebook friend the second the date is over. It’s just too soon to be doing this. You’ll worry that if you accept that they can see dubious photos of you and if you don’t it might look rude.
